In this series, I am exploring the sentiment of life without an address. A transient life, which has become an ever-more fixed part of the Sacramento urban scenario.

By using scraps of canvas adhered to another stretched canvas, I create warped textures. The use of image transfer and adhesive papers to the surface provide context to the jumbled mess of acrylics and oil mediums, cover the canvases.

There is an internal pain that accompanies homelessness, and I am hoping to capture the raw sentiment that comes up inside when seeing the suffering of One's fellow man.

These paintings were completed in May 2019.
