mixed media on canvas

At the end of 2019, the homeless crisis was swelling in the Midtown Sacramento area to such an extent that many communities were facing its reality for the first time. In response, these works were compiled using remnants of canvas and a variety of mediums including oil and acrylic paints, chalk pastel, oil stick, charcoal, and image transfer and adhesion.

The works got their title from the callous response by many in the community who seemed to be on a "No Trespassing" crusade against the homeless. The chaotic compositions reflect the mental health crisis that grips much of the homeless community.
